TAG Immobilien AG - survey: Tenants are happy with service provided by TAG
DGAP-News: TAG Immobilien AG / Key word(s): Study Press release Survey: Tenants are happy with service provided by TAG Hamburg (12 Jan 2016) - TAG Immobilien AG enjoys a high regard among its tenants. More than three quarters of them indicate they are satisfied with the customer service provided by Germany's fourth-largest listed landlord. TAG achieved similar scores for its caretaker and repair services, as well as its commitment to neighbourhood relations. A Technical University of Darmstadt survey commissioned by TAG Immobilien found that more than 70 percent of tenants would recommend TAG as a landlord. Approx. 10,000 tenants of the MDAX-listed company (about 14.6 percent of all of TAG's tenant households) participated in the survey. TAG's customer service scored especially high for friendliness (87.5 percent), telephone accessibility (81.8 percent), good service hours (80.3 percent) and reliability (76 percent). "We take the concerns of our tenants seriously," says Claudia Hoyer, the TAG Executive Board member responsible for property management. "For us this also and especially means that people don't reach us via an anonymous call centre, but via a dedicated local office." TAG Immobilien maintains more than 60 tenant offices at locations all over Germany. They are very much appreciated by the tenants on the ground, as the survey results show. The tenants also indicate that the caretakers are doing a good job: 70 percent of respondents feel that their service has improved compared to last year. TAG currently employs more than 200 caretakers. 72 percent of TAG tenants are also happier than last year about the repair of everyday faults. "Besides providing a professional level of service for our tenants, we also attach great importance to neighbourly relations and encourage interaction with and between our tenants," says Hoyer. For instance, at several sites TAG partners with welfare organisations on matters like creating senior-friendly housing in urban districts, as well as providing assistance and care. Another example are the intergenerational lounges operated by TAG in Salzgitter and Gera. "Our goal is to build a viable network of neighbourhood assistance," says Hoyer. The tenant survey confirms that this commitment is worth it: 71 percent indicate that they are satisfied with the public image of their area, and 83 percent have a positive feeling about their neighbourhood relations. TAG looks back on a history of over 125 years. Today the company manages nearly 80,000 flats and associated commercial premises, garages and parking spaces. Its main locations are Greater Hamburg and Berlin, the Salzgitter region, Thuringia, Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. The Group is continually reducing vacancy through a careful management of its property and future-oriented development of its portfolio. Its success is especially evident in Salzgitter. "At the beginning of 2013, vacancy was at 21.3 percent. Since then, we have been able to reduce this by around three percentage points per year," says Hoyer. About the survey All of TAG's tenant households in Germany were contacted for the survey in summer 2015. Approximately 10,000 of them participated in the survey, representing about 14.6 percent of the let flats. The survey was conducted and evaluated by the University of Darmstadt on behalf of TAG Immobilien. About TAG Immobilien AG Press enquiries:
