Our tenants

Our tenants are our most important stakeholder group. After all, their wishes have a direct influence on our economic success.

Tenant satisfaction and proximity to tenants are fundamental principles of our actions. Our central customer management and our regional real estate management take care of the concerns of our tenants personally by telephone, digitally or in our tenant offices on site. In addition to our TAG Wohnen website with useful information on the topic of housing, we also offer interested tenants a mobile application via our TAG Mieter-App with information on the lease, conversions or repair measures as well as special conditions with various partner companies.

We conduct random satisfaction surveys among our tenants at least every six months, and quarterly or monthly at larger locations. In addition, every three years or so we conduct a comprehensive survey of our entire portfolio to determine their satisfaction and their wishes in terms of housing. We translate all the results into concrete measures.

Our business activity focuses on modern, needs-oriented homes at affordable rents for every situation in life: from family-friendly homes to flat-shares for students, and senior-friendly apartments. We align our range of housing to the requirements of the regional markets and offer tenant households with varying needs and incomes suitable, sustainable homes.

We want to be a reliable partner under all circumstances in life. We therefore offer extensive housing consultation at selected locations. Trained employees advise and support interested tenants on matters relating to the facilities, refurbishment/retrofitting, and offers of assistance in and aids for everyday life.

The TAG Wohnen website is only available in German.

Tenant service in focus: prepared for demographic change

One of our aims is to promote self-determined living into old age and to improve the quality of the housing so that older tenants can stay in their own homes and in their familiar surroundings for as long as possible.

Our consultation is based on the tenants’ housing conditions and individual needs in order to assess the options for improving their living environment. The measures can range from smaller jobs, such as the installation of handrails in the flat, to larger renovations that make disabled-access living possible.
